Learn more about what I love to do in my spare time.
Write.
As I entered University, I found an escape through writing. After the passing of my mother earlier that year, it gave me an outlet to express how I was feeling and be able to articulate it to others though a blog I made called ‘The Life of Me’. You can find it here.
Now, I am currently working on a book. It follows the story of my mom’s illness through my eyes and some helpful anecdotes to those who are supporting me. Stay tuned for its release date!
Cook.
Before I pursued communications, I had my heart set on becoming a pastry chef. My childhood summers were spent following the most intricate recipes and creating my own. My mother always said that the kitchen is where you could always find me, even at the age of 11.
To this day, my love for food, cooking and baking continues. As I learn my family recipes, I enjoy putting a spin of my own on them (with a glass of cabernet sauvignon in hand of course).
When I don’t feel like cooking, I love to check out the chic restaurant scene Vancouver has to offer. Some of my favourites include Miku, Chambar and Cioppino’s.
Travel.
I have been a traveller all of my life. From school exchanges to dance competitions and family vacations, I have been lucky to see all parts of the world.
Some of the places I’ve been include Tanzania, London, Scotland, Japan and Cambodia.
Where I would love to travel next are Italy, France, Thailand, Bali, India or New Zealand.
I will never decline picking up my suitcase and heading onto my next adventure.
Dance.
From the age of five, I’ve been an Irish Dancer. I have placed 6th in Western Canada, 44th in North America and have competed at the World Championships.
I also was a Senior Instructor coaching students from beginner to world championship level.
Since I’ve hung up my dancing shoes in 2016, you can still find me doing a jig on St. Patricks Day with a smile on my face.
Connect With Me.
I’d love to meet you.
